Montréal Station will be a new station located at the crossing of OR 174 and Montreal Road. The Station will be served by two fare-controlled entrances located on Montreal Road. One entrance will serve the eastbound lane and one will serve the westbound lane.
The platform will be in the median of OR 174, above Montreal Road, and will be located so that the platform spans Montreal Road. Bus stops and shelters will be provided in each direction of travel on Montreal Road. Sidewalks and station entry plazas will be sized appropriately to serve the movement and volume of pedestrians and cyclists along Montreal Road, the bus stops, and the passengers transferring from bus to train.
As the structure for Montreal Station is complete, work continues to build the necessary elements to integrate the station within the overpass.

Hi-ho! Hi-Ho! Stage 2 crews are getting ready to work on the railroad! This month, we began receiving rail for the East Extension project. Look out for installation between Montreal and Jeanne d'Arc this fall!
A drive down regional road 174 between Blair and Trim Roads shows plenty of progress and change occurring in the highway median to accommodate the future O-Train Stations.
In this video, you will see the rail flyover, Montreal, Jeanne d'Arc, Convent Glen, Place d'Orleans and Trim Stations.

Snapshot of Trim Station - February 21, 2021
Work progresses at Trim Station. The existing Park and Ride lot has been decreased in size to enable work to advance at the northern side. This area will feature the station entrance and local bus service stops. A pedestrian walkway will connect to the train station in the median of the highway.

Work currently at Place d'Orleans Station continues to be widening the highway trench, and realigning the highway lanes to clear space in the median for the future train station.

Snapshot of Convent Glen Station - February 21, 2021
Work continues to progress at Convent Glen Station. The work occurring involves realigning the highway lanes, first towards the median, to enable the necessary work to be completed on the sides to allow for the highway to separate further. The lanes will then be realigned outwards to clear the median for station construction. You can also observe work involving underground infrastructure on the near side of the highway.

Work at Jeanne d'Arc Station appears to consist of work on underground infrastructure as well as realigning highway ramps. There is also some work taking place in the median.

Back in November, the highway realignment was completed to make use of the new overpasses, and the old original overpass was shortly after demolished. We can now see a big opening between the eastbound and westbound highway overpasses, which is where the future train station will be located. Work now continues in the highway median to prepare the land for station construction. Heading both eastbound and westbound from the station, there is work in the highway median, with earth clearing and trenching, for a sizable distance especially heading in the eastbound direction towards Jeanne d'Arc.

Over the course of the weekend of December 5th and 6th, the old Highway 174 overpass over Montreal Road was demolished. Ottawa City Councillor Tim Tierney and staff captured these photos of this monstrous task. The future station will be located in the position where the old highway overpass was located.
This snapshot update is the fourth in the series for Stage 2 LRT.
Over the course of the next several years, the O-Train Line 1 : Confederation Line will be extended eastward from Blair to Place d'Orleans and beyond to Trim. Construction and enabling work has begun at this station. This entry is a look at the present station and location, as well as a discussion of what is to come and where everything will be once construction is completed.

Lots of action at this site already, with much more to come. It will be interesting to see how the overpass is replaced. Whether it will make use of the rapid bridge replacement technique or more conventional methods.
