Transition to accessible bus service

When buses 9721-9740 entered service in 1998, they were used on routes 16 and 18 throughout the week. At the same time, Sunday trips on routes 151 and 174 were wheelchair accessible, before it was expanded to all days of the week on both routes in April or June 2000. With the need to replace Orion-Ikarus articulated buses beginning soon after, the transition to wheelchair accessible service on routes 85 and 95 begain in 2001. Over the following ten years, all weekend and some weekday trips on route 118 became wheelchair accessible in January 2005.
