Model railroad pictures
« on: March 10, 2010, 04:43:52 PM »
Somebody had requested a while ago on a different thread some photos of my model railroad so I'll post a few I've been working on scenery stuff a lot lately hence all the old yogurt containers and other related stuff.

Not the best photos and I had all my 1/87 machines parked next to the crushing and screening building, cause I had to make some room on one of my bookshelfs.

Haha you've got it bad for the industrial side of things, machinery etc. :)

Is that a Rapido caboose I see?

Yeah I work in construction and I am a heavy equipment enthusiast. My dad is also a mining engineer so all those things factor into how I build my layout plus I like switching much more than running around in circles chasing my caboose. Yeah that unpainted, undecorated caboose is a Rapido I haven't decided on how I want to paint it. I just bought a S-2 or S-3 that I want to make into a GWWD S-13 with the blue flashing strobe. So I'll have some work cut out for me. But that's what makes it so enjoyable afterall.

Nice work! Is that HO scale? I'm working on a Z scale layout to set up in my coffee table. It's going to be the world's most expensive cat teaser! :)

My hubby and I collect train models, and have everything from Z to G. Now that we've purchased an acreage, we can begin working on an outdoor layout for our G stuff. I can't wait!
